The Band
Chuck Levy - Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
Chuck Traubman - Bass Guitar
Jim Stocker - Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals
Vaughn Irving - Percussion

Welcome to our website. Crisis 2.0 is a Rock n Roll dance band with it's history originating from the three piece classic/alternative band known as Mid-Life Crisis. The line-up includes the three founding members from Mid-Life Crisis, Vocalist Chuck Levy, Bassist Chuck Traubman, and Guitarist Jim Stocker. Joining them is Percussionist Vaughn Irving.

Crisis 2.0 was born when we were looking for a way to expand our playing abilities/styles by going with a more modern hard rock sound. Since the spring of 2005 we have been auditioning people and ideas for this venture and during the summer we nailed down the songs that we wanted to perform and the new member that would round out the band. We have taken some of the material from the original band that is suitable for our mission with this incarnation. Mid-Life Crisis will remain a trio and play its current venues while Crisis 2.0 moves on to larger venues.

We will be hitting the Morris County and surrounding area rock clubs in the Fall of 2005. We look forward to seeing all of you that helped us make the past 6 years so tremendous. In addition we hope to bring in some new fans with this new act. We want to thank everyone that have supported us in the past as you are a big part of the inspiration that drives us to do this.

Chuck Levy - Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar

We call him "The Voice" for a very good reason. Chuck is a very seasoned singing machine. He has performed in many bands over the past 20+ years. His vocal range is very impressive as is his musical taste. He can sing anything from George Gershwin to Led Zeppelin.

Chuck is 46 years old and hails from Morristown, NJ. He is the proud father of 2 lovely girls. When he isn't belting out the tunes he is a private professional fitness consultant and a consultant for Tilt Total Fitness in Morristown , NJ.

Chuck is one if the founding members from Mid-Life Crisis where he also plays rhythm guitar. He enjoys a good beer, glass of red wine, or martini. Chuck has a natural way of working a crowd and in addition to his vocal abilities can read an audience's needs very well.

Chuck Traubman - Bass Guitar

Chuck is known as "The Bass" due to his guitar like playing based upon the influences of Chris Squire from Yes and Paul McCartney from The Beatles. Not only that, but like Paul, he is a lefty. Chuck's musical background is very extensive and he has performed in many bands since his High School years. Chuck played the Northern Florida bar circuit back in the mid-1980's. Chuck plays 4 string, 5 string, and 8 string basses.

Chuck is 44 years old and is a Morristown resident. When he is not jamming with the band he is a Director for a VoIP Company. He has been in the telecom field for 16 years.

Chuck is also one if the founding members from "Mid-Life Crisis" where he also plays bass guitar. He enjoys a good beer, glass of red wine, or hit of chilled expensive tequila. Chuck's contributions to the band are his basement for rehearsal and his leadership in putting it all together.

Jim Stocker - Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals

We call Jim "The Guitar" for his blues influenced style. Jim's roots are imbedded in the blues and it shows in his technique. Jim has come a long way since his debut in "Mid-Life Crisis". Jim is comfortable in both acoustic and electric settings.

Jim is 37 years old and lives in Pennsylvania. When he is not playing his axe he is a teacher in the Morris County school district. Jim also teaches guitar to future rockers.

Jim was the final addition to "Mid-Life Crisis" back in 2002. We are not sure what his favorite drink is since he seems to get smashed on just about anything.

Vaughn Irving - Percussion

Vaughn provides us with "The Beat" that pulls it all together. He started playing later in life for a musician. It was at age 19 that he became serious about pursuing a musical career. Vaughn has never taken formal lessons as he did not have the patience so taught himself.

Vaughn is 34 years old and lives in Morristown. When he is not banging on the drums he works for himself in the fitness industry. His drumming influences include: Dennis Chambers, Marco Miniman, Nathaniel Townsely, Gerald Hayward, Aaron Spears, Steve Smith, and too many more.

We are not sure about Vaughn's appetite for alcoholic beverages, but we will get to the bottom of it soon. He is a very technical percussionist and we are very happy to have him aboard.
